π what if youβre wrong and everyone else is right?
Wait, wut?!
Did I really just utter those words, in question form, in a letter that is meant to inspire and not debilitate you?
I'm so sorry, I did. And I'm serious.
ππ»ββοΈ
Do you ever stop and ask yourself this question? I do. My clients definitely do. And I'm willing to bet that you do, too.
Why?
π€¨
Because anyone who has ever had a novel thought, has also spoken these words to themselves at some point.
What if I'm wrong and everyone else is right?
But the thing about novel thoughts is this β they come from visionaries. They are often thoughts and ideas and glimpses of a future state that no one has thought of before, that few are capable of seeing at all.
πΊπ»
And when you set out to collaborate with a novel thought, turning it into an action, into a project, into a business, you set out into creating something that has never existed before.
π
Your job is not to explain it, justify it, get approval, permission or validation for it. Your job is to honor it, and to honor yourself by trusting that you know the way.
π
Because you do.
Because you are a visionary.
ππ½
If you weren't, you wouldn't have novel thoughts to begin with.
If you weren't, you would never think these words βwhat if I'm wrong and everyone else is right?β
AND, what if you're right?
(Spoiler alert: you are!!)
β‘οΈ
And if that's not enough to inspire you. How about this:
You can stay in line your whole entire life and still fail.
You can do what everyone else does and still fail.
You can be acceptable, responsible, obedient, beautifully colored in the lines, and still fail.
So which is worth failing for?
